PLATFORM AND COUNTER SCALES.
E. & T. FAIRBANKS & CO.

ST. J01INSP.URY, VT.

These scales hare the universal confidence of the public.
They have been long known and severely tested, and are always
right.

The long experience of the manufacturers, their knowledge
of the science of Aveighing, and their skill and faithfulness in
workmanship, afford a sure guarantee that each purchaser shall
have a scalej —

1st. Which is convenient and accurate.

2d. "Which is made faithfully, and of the best materials ; — not
with cast-iron fcdges, which soon wear out, but with steel

3d. Which is made scientifically ; so that large loads, when
divided and weighed in small drafts, will produce the same ag-
gregate upon any of the angles of the platform.

4th. Which is not liable to derangement or to expense for
repairs, but will remain, through years of constant usage, al-
ways ACOURAT.
